A HEAD ON COLLISION BETWEEN GREAT AND AWFUL!

Why oh why CAN I NOT/NOT open my saved Logo Creator templates on my Mac. This SERIOUS shortfall is forcing me to literally rebuild my logos every time I want to make a simple edit or modification. I should be able to open my templates in the same way I can open a Power Point presentation to make edits, etc. Not good. Id love to join the chorus of people who say they LOVE this software, but this (and Ive read every thread on the LB Help Forum on this problem... not resolved for anyone) is a serious shortfall. As a result, I like the ease of use and Vector quality, but this will leave me in the dissatisfied, if not, completely disappointed and frustrated column. Please help/fix.
