I used this app to create a few logo’s. I loved it! It was a 5 star. After I upgraded to Capitan, I can’t event import a a picture into the app without it crashing consistently. Too bad, I really liked it. If I went through this first I would rate it a 1. I gave it a 2 only becuase it used to be a 5 in my book. Good luck!

I Hate this app, it’s trash, it dosent work

I received an answer from Marc, from The Logo Creator Support, and he couldnt figure out why the version I downloaded didnt work on my computer. He couldnt duplicate the problems I was having. He sent me another version and I downloaded that one and it works great. He also gave me an additional package of characters to make up for the fact that it didnt work and he hadnt noticed my emails. So - I had very good feedback and a copy of Logo Creator that works - still dont understand why the one I purchased from the APP Store doesnt work on my computer. But - I am very happy with the end result and I think he is looking into the copy on the APP Store to check why my copy didnt work.

This used to be a really good application. You could make high resolution logos that you could use on posters and banners. NOT ANYMORE. Now you are limited to paper and business card size. Exports are jagged and you can only save in PNG and PDF. We now have to send these out to be cleaned up to a higher resolution. It seems as though the exports are 75 dpi screen shots (that’s my opinion…It may not be what actually is going on). I’m looking for something else now…I will only use Logo Creator as an idea generator now….too bad.

Very difficult to use, tempermental. Absolute waste of money, seriously disappointed.

If you have an understanding of layers, colors and gradients, you wont have any problems with this program. I used this years ago and was hoping it would come to the App Store at a good price. I usually take a template with a format I like and add my own images. I then dress it up with the tools and elements provided in Logo Creator. With a template as a starting point, you can add or take away any element or just adjust the elements to the size and colors you like. I love it!

Not transferrable to Keynote. So not useful for what I need

I used logo creator several years ago and found it to be THE MOST INTUITIVE user friendly program out there for hacks like me who dont have time to learn complicated programs. I was sad when the softward didnt keep up with the MAC updates. Today was a happy discovery to find it works with Mac OS X 10.6 and higher. I downloaded the app - had a little glitch in the export (for the comment below that said it cannot be used in keynote - it can, just go to the web-site and ask for support) It took an extra step of reopening the exported file and saving a second time, which now the developers know this, will probably fix in an upgrade. I was also thrilled to see all of the new textures and background choices. Im just stoked!

Great app for graphics that is very use friendly and easy to use. No high learning curves. Great collection of templates to choose from.

Ive been using The Logo Creator for years on my Windows PCs and just recently bought it for my Mac. Ive tried other software for creating logos and adverisments but I keeping coming back to The Logo Creator because it does what I need it to do, it is easy to use, and the customer service and tech support are excellent (though tech support is rarely needed). Sure, theres lots of software that will do what the Logo Creator does and more. They also cost more and are not as easy to use.

This program Doesnt work correct and no show the Designs in my macbook. please fix it. or I want my money back.

Why oh why CAN I NOT/NOT open my saved Logo Creator templates on my Mac. This SERIOUS shortfall is forcing me to literally rebuild my logos every time I want to make a simple edit or modification. I should be able to open my templates in the same way I can open a Power Point presentation to make edits, etc. Not good. Id love to join the chorus of people who say they LOVE this software, but this (and Ive read every thread on the LB Help Forum on this problem... not resolved for anyone) is a serious shortfall. As a result, I like the ease of use and Vector quality, but this will leave me in the dissatisfied, if not, completely disappointed and frustrated column. Please help/fix. Also, I purchased my version in the App Store and the new Mac Update to 6.6 will not open. I am looking for the App Upgrade, but… Five Stars for ease of use and Vector quality, but One Star for a problem that hasnt existed in software since the 1990s… "Save As…"

opened and tried to upload an image i had just downloaded. App froze up. Now, I cant close it, hide it, quit it or even turn off my cpu. W.T.F.????

If youre running OSX Snow Leopard this software will not work on your Mac. You can see the templates and change fonts but none of the images can be used. The developer knows of this problem (there are several questions on their supoprt page pertaining to this...with no other answers than its a bug they currently have not fixed). Buyer beware.

I was very excited when I initially purchased this program. Everything work fine but the images upon completion were low-resolution, not HD as one would expect from a logo creating software in this-day-and-age. Also there have been several updates since this version that the App Store fail to release. I purchased from the orginal site for $20 and could never get it to install properly. Ive sent emails to the developer several times to address my issue, not once have I gotten a response back. I feel as though I been scammed and left in the cold. Purchase at your own risk!

I have been using Logo Creator software for over 10 years now, and I can say with absolute confidence, "Its great software, with even greater support". The Logo Creator is one of my tools I use each and everyday as a full time, independant Graphics Designer. And in my business, being able to create and bring to life, your customers ideas is paramount. The support team that comes along with your purchase is by far, one of the best in the business as well. You just cant go wrong with buying any of the software titles from the team at Laughing Bird Software. I love the app! So cool and easy to use!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP! This version clearly states that it works on OS X 10.6, but it will not even open in this system. I paid for and downloaded it to find this out. No one has been able to get ONE response back from the developer for support. Apple shouldve taken this app out of the App Store long ago after all the written complaints. But, as it stands, they have done nothing about this, and people are still getting screwed because Apple still allowing the purchasing this product in the App Store.

This is the best logo making tool in the App store. Bar none. You can create SO many more images (other than JUST logos…) It’s awesome. And I love it.

I bought this app thinking that if it didnt work for me that I could ge my money back. WRONG! I had tried this app out and found it wan not going to work for what I needed it for. I contacted Marc Sylvester at Laughingbird Software to ask for my money back: His reply: Thanks for the note. Im sorry to hear this. Can I ask what the trouble is? What was it that you were hoping for, and what did you get? Just curious Marc I reponded. He didnt. I am a small business that counts every penny. Why advertise that there is a guarantee if there is not?? Shameful.
